My second quilt

 This was a lap quilt that I made for my mother-in-law. I am very pleased with how it turned out! I used the patter (to be inserted here). It was a very quick and easy pattern to do for a wanna be quilter. I was making this quilt at the same time as the one for my mother, this was much easier, so no mistakes here! 

What makes me most proud of the quilt is the fact that I used my mothers longarm quilting machine to top stitch it!! I spent over 9 hours, of a beautiful weekend, standing and bending and sewing. But I am very happy with the over all look. I don't know if you can see the pattern that I chose? It is of a repeating leaf. It was a pretty easy and forgiving pattern to use, since this was my first time doing it.
